Bitcoin mining, or bitcoin mining, is a voluntary activity in which volunteers, called miners, provide the processing power of their extractive devices to the network to validate network transactions.

Of course, the miners don't do it for God's sake, but they are rewarded for it, and that is the bitcoin reward. In other words, when you send bitcoin to your friend, the miner helps validate your transactions and rewards the network.
